The School of Theatre and Film is located in the historic (and recently fully renovated) Lincoln Hall, PSU’s first building.  Film History and Studies courses at Portland State are taught in a designated 50-seat screening room in Lincoln Hall, as well as in the building’s Studio Theater and in the university’s 5th Avenue Cinema (the only completely student-run movie theater in the U.S.).  Lincoln Hall is also home to our 30-seat computer lab, which contains the software used in all of our production courses, as well as our Production Suite, which consists of a private editing bays and a pro-level audio recording and mixing bay.  The nearby Neuberger Hall is home to our massive 1700 square foot production facility, which includes, among other pre- and post-production spaces, a large studio soundstage (with full lighting grid and greenscreen) and our equipment office, which houses our vast array of cameras, tripods, audio recorders, microphones, light kits, dollies and rigs.
