Alpha is a local environmental service company specializing in real estate transaction due diligence for services such as radon testing and mitigation, underground storage tank locating, assessment, and cleanup, mold inspection and remediation, sewer scoping and repair, and asbestos and lead surveys. Part of our service has been to provide education to real estate agents and professionals in the field for our services, outlining methods, industry standards, and recommendations. As part of these efforts, Alpha would like to develop a series of instructional and informational videos which may serve as duel-purpose for external and internal development and education. The project will consist of 6-12 2-5 minute videos with potential versions for different usages.

Timeline: February to June 2016 (based on film student’s availability and needs)

Distribution: Project will be broadcasted on our company’s website, in continuing education presentations, and within our company’s training programs. Use may extend to other features depending on future marketing and education needs.

Expectations: Student will be responsible for filming and producing features with oversight and support from Alpha staff. Student will work with designated Alpha member in production and editing stages.

Benefits: Student will have opportunity to product, shoot, and edit a series of short films which will be utilized in a number of applications with opportunity for exposure. Student will be relied upon for professional opinion, expertise and insight throughout the process for lasting innovative and artistic influence.

Compensation: the position is not expected to be paid; however, depending on project demands Alpha will consider flat rate compensation upon project completion. Reimbursement for expenses will be discussed during interviewing process.

Tools: Student will need most production tools including camera, tripod, and software.
