Marketing Emerging Technologies: How Video Production Is Shaping Tomorrow
In today’s world technology is changing the way we live our lives and many of the ways do business. Whether it’s how we pay for goods at a store, turn functions of our home on/off with our phone, or how we communicate with people across the world technology is changing it all.
Many of today’s newest and biggest brands have captured their marketplace and discovered new success with storytelling through the medium of video, both on the web and through broadcast television.
Video production has been paramount in the growth and continued success of companies like Apple, Google, Salesforce, Tesla, GoPro, FitBit and many others.
Nvoicepay is offering a student an opportunity to help shape the stories we tell about our emerging technology, with real world experience producing video content with our marketing team. The opportunity would allow for the student to work on video projects from brainstorming and storyboarding to filming and post-production. Each video will have a prominent place on our website and will directly impact the success of the digital marketing strategy.
Our goal as an organization is to produce and publish 5-10 videos during the duration of the internship. The volume will depend on internal priority initiatives. The student will ultimately develop a working portfolio that they can use for future job searches and educational applications.
Nvoicepay will begin accepting applications on Oct. 1st. The internship is slated to begin on Oct. 16th with a tentative end date of Jan. 15th. Weekly office hours are flexible and can be modified to accommodate the schedule of the right candidate. Anticipated hourly commitment per week 15-25.
The Internship will be supervised by the Director of Digital Marketing at Nvoicepay.
Interns are paid on a bi-weekly basis at a rate of $11.50/hr – $14.50hr depending on experience and skill proficiencies. If a scholarship is preferred one can be negotiated.
Student demonstrates leadership qualities that are conducive to the direction and production of video.
Student possess strong oral and written communications skills.
Student has an expressed passion for video production.
Proficient user of Adobe Creative Cloud Products (e.g. After Affects, Photoshop, Premiere, etc).
If the student has proficiencies in other product suites that should be noted on their resume.
Students are required to provide a portfolio of work that demonstrates their abilities, to be considered. The student should feel comfortable describing in detail how they created each work example in their portfolio during the interview process.
