Prof. Morrow Screens Films

Portland State Film professor Dustin Morrow continues to be busy on the film festival circuit. His feature film musical “Everything Went Down” screened recently at the Zoom International Film Festival in Poland, the Three Cities Festival in the Dominican Republic, and the Rendezvous Film Festival in Florida. The film continues to be available online at Hulu, VHX, IndieReign, Vimeo On Demand, and Amazon Instant.

Prof. Morrow’s short experimental documentary “Ground London” screened recently at the Cape May Film Festival in New Jersey, the Antimatter Media Arts Festival in Victoria, the Seattle Transmedia & Independent Film Festival in Seattle, the Athens Digital Arts Festival in Greece, and the Carnival of E-Creativity Festival in India. The film was also curated in Ohio State University’s Journal of Short Film.

Excerpts from Prof. Morrow’s writing about teaching production appears in media scholar Jan Fernback’s new book “Teaching Communication and Media Studies: Pedagogy and Practice” (2015, Routledge Press). Prof. Morrow also recently served as a panelist at the 2015 Northwest Symposium on International Faculty-Led Programs, speaking about the programs he has run in Dublin, London, and Northern Ireland.
