Portland State Film Professor Dustin Morrow had a busy summer screening films online and in the U.S, Europe and South America. His feature film musical Everything Went Down was picked up by Hulu (and can currently be seen there: http://www.hulu.com/watch/682848) and was licensed for broadcast and on-demand by Comcast. The film is also available through VHX and Amazon, and it was an official selection of the Columbia Gorge International Film Festival in August. Prof. Morrow was a visiting artist at Monmouth College in Illinois in early September, and also screened the film there. The film will next screen at PSU as part of Portland State of Mind, on Monday, Oct. 20th, at 6:00pm in the Studio Theater in Lincoln Hall, where Prof. Morrow will introduce it and do a Q&A. The screening is free and open to the public.
Prof. Morrow’s short experimental documentary film Ground London also screened in several places this summer: it was an official selection of the FILE 2014 International Festival in Brazil, the ArtsFest Film Festival in Pennsylvania, the Columbia Gorge International Film Festival in Vancouver, the University Film and Video Conference in Bozeman, the Cologne International Videoart Festival in Germany, the VideoBabel International Audiovisual Festival in Peru, the Portland Film Festival in Portland, and the Oregon Independent Film Festival in Eugene, where it won ‘Best Experimental Film’. Congrats, Prof. Morrow!
