Julie Nakama, PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh, has been awarded the Richard C. and Barbara N. Tobias Dissertation Fellowship towards work on her dissertation about fashion and costume in 1960s Hollywood film. Julie also was awarded the A&S Dissertation Research and Development Grant by the university so that she can conduct research at the Margaret Herrick Library in Los Angeles.
